Day 2: Hanoi Capital Half-day – Night Train To Lao Cai

Morning

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, you can wander around the city by yourself.

Afternoon

01:30 pm: the tour guide from Go Travel will take you on the Hanoi Capital half-day tour (The routes can be changed to suit your interest). You will have a chance to visit some of the top famous tourist attractions in Hanoi:

  • First destination: The Temple of Literature where cultural imprints – a thousand-year history of civilization – are kept. At the same time, the place is where students gather to pray for luck before each vital exam.
  • Second destination: One Pillar Pagoda, one of Vietnam’s most remarkable architectural monuments, a cultural icon and spiritual attraction in Hanoi. This temple’s antique architectural beauty and historical worth will provide you with a vivid and exciting picture of Vietnamese Buddhist culture.
  • Third destination: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum – the last resting place of the most prominent politician in Vietnamese history, Ho Chi Minh, who was vital in Vietnam’s independence (Sites are viewed from the outside; closed Mon and Fri and from June to August).
  • Last destination: Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda, noted for its distinctive construction, which resembles a flowering lotus, is opulent and old, and is located in the center of a wide, tranquil lake, generating a sense of relaxation and peace.

After visiting those significant attractions, you will return to the hotel and take a break before getting on the night train to Sapa.

09:00 pm: After doing personal hygiene, you will meet the tour guide at the hotel. We will start transferring to the Hanoi Train Station and take the night train to Lao Cai in shared sleeping compartments.

  • You will not be accompanied by the tour guide on the train ride.
  • The train timetable may be altered.
  • Private compartments are available for a fee.
  • Train rides are an essential component of the local experience. Cabins are shared with other passengers from the area. If you prefer privacy, you may rent a private cabin on the train with extras. The local experience is completed with restrooms at either end of the carriages.

Day 3: Lao Cai – Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van

Morning

05:30 am: arrive at Lao Cai train station around, and transfer to Sapa by a shared bus. The traveling time is approximately 1 hour. You can request an early check-in with a surcharge.

09:30 am: kick off the trek to Y Linh Ho Village, the village by the Muong Hoa River. From there, you can continue the trek to the Black Hmong Village of Lao Chai and Ta Van Village, which is home to the Zay people, to see the life of the ethnic group.

At the end of the trek: return to Sapa.

Afternoon

Free at leisure the rest of the day, and spend an overnight at the hotel in Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai Village – Hanoi – Road transfer

Morning

In the morning, you will have a light breakfast before checking out to go back to Hanoi. You will trek about 3 km to Cat Cat Village of Black Hmong. There, you will have a chance to admire the magnificent waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during colonial times in Vietnam. 

During the way of trekking, we will have time to enjoy a picnic lunch on the river bank. Then, we can continue to walk to Sin Chai Village, where located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain. After that, we can come back to the main road and get on the jeep to get back to Sapa town.

Free time at the hotel until the limousine comes to pick you up for the transfer back to Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight on Cruise

Morning

After having breakfast, we will take a trip to Halong Bay which is recognized as one of the 7 natural wonders in the world.  After 2.5 hours of transfer, you will be welcomed by the crew staff on board, then check in for embarkation.

At 12:00 pm, you will have a chance to enjoy the tasty and fresh seafood served on board and admire the natural beauty while staying on the boat cruising along the bay.

Afternoon

Take a rest before engaging in some enjoyable activities on the bay. Exploration of a cave, kayaking, or simply swimming in Halong Bay’s bright blue water while taking in the breathtaking scenery is just a few of the thrilling activities offered. Then we return to the yacht and get ready for dinner.

After a filling meal on board, some nighttime activities you could like include squid fishing, board games, watching movies, and going to nightclubs. If early mornings aren’t your thing, come spend the night with us on the boat.

Day 6: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Da Nang

Morning

Make it a new day by taking a Tai-chi lesson or simply watching the dawn over the bay. At 7:00 a.m., you’ll enjoy a light breakfast before continuing your tour of this lovely bay with a visit to a neighboring cave and some kayaking. After that, you will return to the boat to finish your checkout. Then it’s time to have your final delicious lunch on board before saying farewell to the trip.

Afternoon

We will get back to the main dock for the transfer to the airport for the flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, Go Travel’s driver will transfer you to the hotel in Hoi An to check in and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 7: Hoi An – Tra Que Village – Cycling Tour

Morning

After breakfast, go to the bicycle store at 8:00 a.m. to rent a bicycle for the day’s riding excursion. You may begin your trip at Tra Que Village by helping the farmers prepare the ground and fertilize it with seaweed from the nearby lake.

It is an opportunity to participate in more realistic tasks such as scraping the ground, planting, watering greens, picking greens, and gardening like a true farmer. After attempting a variety of fun activities, take a breather and create a traditional dish for lunch with your host family.

Afternoon

At 01:30 am, ride the bike to the home of a craftsman, who will give you a brief history, shape, and color of the lantern, as well as the methods involved in manufacturing them. It’s now your chance to create your own lantern and preserve it as a keepsake.

Day 9: Transfer from Hoi An to Hue

  • Second destination: Imperial Citadel, Hue’s most famous and appealing tourist site. Visitors may appreciate the beautiful and historic landscapes and learn about the history and buildings that once echoed with power.
  • Last destination: Visit Dong Ba Market, Hue City’s largest traditional trading market, to experience local life in action.

Day 11: Flight To Ho Chi Minh – Half-day City Tour

Morning

Transfer to Phu Bai Airport for a one-hour flight to Ho Chi Minh metropolis, the largest metropolis and economic center of Vietnam. When you arrive, our driver will meet you and take you to the hotel.

Afternoon

At 01:30 pm, join the sightseeing tour to discover all the must-visit destinations in Ho Chi Minh Cỉty:

  • The War Remnants Museum houses about 20,000 records, objects, and films detailing the horrible events and repercussions of Vietnam’s war with invading forces.
  • Formerly the official residence and office of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. 
  • Saigon Notre Dame church: An amazing church in Sai Gon with historic French architecture and a large area from outside to within.
  • The Old Post Office is a great example of the city’s trademark French colonial architecture, a blend of Western and Eastern architectural traditions. 

Finally, stop by the local market, where you can see the local life and buy some unique souvenirs to bring back home.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta – Can Tho

Morning

After breakfast, meet our tour guide to begin a full-day tour of the Mekong Delta, which is famous for its huge network of rivers and canals, scenic rice fields, and colorful floating marketplaces.

08:00 am: The tour guide will transport you to the dock, where you will embark on an exhilarating boat ride to explore this region: 

  • Visit the Cai Be floating market to see a remarkable scenario in which sellers offer their wares straight from boats, creating a bustling environment on the river. You may sample some fresh tropical fruits while learning about the unusual way of life of the sellers who live and work on the sea.
  • Proceed to the Com Candy Craft Village, where you can see the process of producing candy nuggets and sample some freshly prepared candies and warm honey tea. 
  • Continue to Tan Phong island, where you may explore the Mekong Delta off the main road and meander through fresh fruit orchards filled with seasonal exotic fruits including durian, longan, plum, jackfruit, and more.
  • Visit Uncle 5 On’s house and listen to the Mekong Delta’s distinctive folk song, “Don Ca Tai Tu,” while sipping tea and eating delicious fruits. Discover the history of this folk tune and interact with local artists.
  • Farewell to Uncle Name Son’s residence and continue on to Mekong Ecolodge along a little canal. Join a cooking class to learn how to create traditional Vietnamese meals and have a great lunch cooked from the region’s abundant resources.

Morning

At roughly 08:00 a.m., take a motorboat to Cai Rang Floating Market. Witness the lively commercial activity on the Mekong River and have a tasty dish of “Hu Tieu” – traditional Mekong Delta rice noodles. 

After visiting the floating market, you will wander around the hamlet, passing by the rice husking mill and seeing the lovely environment and daily activities of the inhabitants. Then we’ll eat lunch and rest in Can Tho before heading to Ho Chi Minh.

Disembark at Ninh Kieu and transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City – Phan Thiet – Road transfer

08:30 am: The driver will come and transfer to the bus office to catch the shuttle bus to Mui Ne.

01:30 pm: After about 5 hours, you will arrive in Mui Ne and transfer to the hotel.

Hotel check-in is available at that time, and you can enjoy your free time on the beach for the rest of the day or just take a nap to relax.

NOTE: Private car transfer will be applied for private tours.
